This year’s theme, The Ripple Effect: Expanding Communications, explores how the ever‑evolving K–12 education landscape is reshaping the way we think about, plan, and deliver school communications. From emerging challenges to innovative marketing strategies, sessions will focus on expanding reach, influence, and impact across school districts of all sizes.

For planning purposes, here are the registration and hotel rates for the conference:

  • Conference Registration (SUNSPRA Members): $99
  • Hotel Rate: $129 per night — a savings of $75 per night for the first 50 registrants (regular rate: $204).

Call for Presenters

Registration is now open to submit presenter proposals for consideration at the SUNSPRA 2026 Conference.  Conference registration opens February 2. 

SUNSPRA’s annual conference brings together professionals, thought leaders, and experts from our field. Our conference promises to deliver a high-impact experience for attendees.

Don't miss this opportunity to bring your solutions and lessons learned to school communicators across Florida. Everyone is invited to submit a proposal, with priority given to SUNSPRA members.

The deadline for submitting your proposal is Friday, February 13, 2026. Submissions will be completed via our online portal.

Sunshine Medallion Awards Deadline: March 13

Now is the moment to apply for the Sunshine Medallion Awards. These awards give you the chance to share your best work, build pride in your district, and add value to the vital role you play every day. These statewide awards will be presented in Naples during the SUNSPRA Conference. See the list of categories and entry instructions on the SUNSPRA website. Upload entries into the contest portal by March 13, 2026 deadline.
